We, the members of Assembly of Cooperation for Peace, the men and women who shape and define the organization, are the ones who, by our work, our contributions, our ideas and our participation, decide, lead and sustain the activities carried out in our organization.

What follows is an extract of ACPP’s Articles of Association where we reference the nature and rights of the affiliated members of the Assembly of Cooperation for Peace

 

Chapter IV (AFFILIATED MEMBERS), Article 21
Those people with capacity to act and are interested in the development of the Association’s goals shall be members of the Association. Aside from the previously expounded requirement, being part of the Association also will require the payment of membership dues.

Chapter IV (AFFILIATED MEMBERS), Articles 24 and 25
The Charter members and affiliated members with at least six months of seniority, will have the following rights: a) To take part in all the activities carried on by the Association in the fulfilment of its objectives. b) To enjoy all advantages and benefits the Association could offer c) To participate in Affiliated Members’ Assemblies with voice and vote d) To elect and be elected to the Steering Board. e) To receive information on the agreements adopted by the Association bodies f) To make suggestions to the members of the Steering Board in order to better fulfil the objectives of the Association
